The Symposium Group- a company dedicated to helping people get started in and building successful MLM businesses, has just announced plans for the Symposium Experience, May 8-9 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference will address issues with starting, expanding and growing MLM companies with a focus on MLM startups.

The Symposium Group was founded only three years ago, and since has helped over 500 executives, managers and owners of MLM and Direct Sales companies build their companies through MLM training programs.

The two day conference will feature executives from some of the biggest brands in the MLM world, including XanGo, Scentsy and ForeverGreen. During the conference, attendees can participate in over 12 different training sessions, and attend networking luncheons where they will have the chance to meet others who are new to the MLM world as well as seasoned executives in the industry.

Mannatech just got approval to conduct business in South Africa. This marks the 11th country where Mannatech health and wellness products are available and is just another step for the company in their continuing efforts to become a global leader in the health and wellness industry.

We first broke this story back in February and it looks the co. is on track to deliver.

Mannatech believes that South Africa is the perfect climate for their products. There is a rich culture of using elements from nature as part of the people’s health and wellness routine. South Africa was the first country to grant a patent for the technology used by Mannatech in the formulation of their most popular health supplement, Ambrotose.

AVON UK is launching a new multi million dollar advertising campaign across the UK in a search for a new “cooler” set of Avon representatives.

The new ad campaign (which has already been launched in the US) uses the slogan “Hello Tomorrow” will replace the 1960’s slogan, which really launched the company in the UK, ‘Ding-Dong, AVON Calling!’ While that slogan helped propel the company, Avon has grown so much since the days of ringing doorbells, and wants their new representatives to be strong, hip, modern business woman. The new commercials which will feature 6 fashionable AVON women, will begin running on April 28 and run for 6 weeks.

There are currently over 170,000 AVON representatives in Britain. The new generation of Avon representatives will sell more than just makeup; their product line is expanding to include jewelry, fashion and lingerie. .

Anna Segatti, AVON’s UK president, said: “It’s great to be back on television with our first representative recruitment advertising campaign in 30 years. We think the commercials will be very well received.”

AVON has representatives and customers in over 100 countries, and a third of those customers are in the UK.
