4Life Research™ announced its 4th Annual Sponsorship of the Million Dollar Hole-In-One at the 11th annual Sorenson Champions Challenge. The PGA-sanctioned charity golf tournament will benefit Art works for kids! and the ANNIKA Foundation at Thanksgiving Point on June 16 and 17, 2008.

Both charities are heavily involved in enriching the lives of children through both art and sports.

This year marks a departure from the past: three lucky people from the general public will take a shot at the 4Life $1,000,000 Hole.

According to Internet Retailer’s Annual Top 500 Guide to the Web, Quixtar/ Amway Independent Business Owners have taken the number one spot in online Health and Beauty Sales. This is the company’s 5th straight year in the top spot on the list. The company was also 26th on the list in overall web sales.

Internet retailers, an annual publication, bases its rankings on annual internet sales, the numbers are researched by Internet Retailers and then confirmed by the company. The publication notes that Quixtars $861 million in sales accounts for over 80% of the company’s overall sales which reached over a billion dollars in 2007.

“To achieve this ranking five years in a row is a true testament to the hard work of the Independent Business Owners (IBOs) who bring customers to our site and drive our sales,” says Steve Lieberman, Quixtar’s Managing Director.

The business model of Quixtar/Amway relies on the independent consultants who can set up their own websites to offer all of the products the company is known for. The independent business owners, as they are referred to, receive “commission”, or compensation, bonuses, and other incentives for selling products and leading customers to the Quxtar/Anway sites.

High internet sales were led by the popularity of two of the company’s products, namely Nutrilite, which is the worlds leading brand of dietary supplements based on sales the past 2 years and Artistry, a brand of cosmetics and skin care that has continued to grow in popularity each year and is a leading cosmetic line globally.

Agel Enterprises received a major honor this week when it was named a finalist in four different categories for the 2008 American Business Awards. The annual awards are known as the Stevies (”Oscards” of the business world) are the only awards that recognize major accomplishments in the business world.

The “Stevie Awards” were named after Stephen, the Greek word for “crowned” were first given out in 2002. Today the Stevie Awards are given out to Best American Companies, Best International Companies, The Stevie Awards for Women and Stevies for Sales and Customer Service.

The awards are presided over by a panel judges and advisors who are leading figures in American Business.

The American Business Stevie Awards will be given out on June 12th at the Annual Awards Gala at the Marrriot Marquis in New York City. They expect more than 600 executives from Companies across the country to attend.
