Avon announced last week that the company will enter into a partnership with James Bond entertainment to create a new fragrance. The new scent will be a signature Bond Girl 007 Fragrance.
Gemma Arterton, the newest bond girl, who will be featured in the upcoming 007 flick, Quantum of Solace, will grace the ads as the face of the fragrance. Arterton will appear in TV and print ads that will begin running in October of 2008 and will coincide with the release of the film.
Word on the street is that the new 007 fragrance, created by Firmenich, is a floral scent with hints of peach and orange followed by notes of jasmine, freesia, with a bit of amber, wood and patchouli. Sounds very interesting and like a bond girl, somewhat mysterious.
The new scent will be available in most major Avon markets including North America, Europe and Latin America.
