EcoQuest, the company best known for its environmentally friendly air filtration device has just come out with a new system that will help individuals conserve energy in their homes.
The new system, an energy conservation device, can be attached to the electric circuit breaker inside any home.

powerworxThe new system, called the PowerwoRX e3, which the company says will increase energy and electricity efficiency inside homes, is being sold now in limited markets but will hopefully be available everywhere in the near future.

Independent sales reps who have already had the chance to preview and sell the product, claim that the PowerwoRx e3 provides three key benefits, energy savings, electrical noise filtration and equipment protection.

The machine works by not only reducing the amount of energy and electricity output by certain devices, but the company also says that the system can reuse some of the wasted energy that can get trapped inside smaller appliances. The device manages all electrical and energy outputs throughout the house while at the same time offering surge protection.

The device, which runs around $600 dollars for either the indoor or outdoor unit, must be installed by a licensed electrician so all in, will cost you close to $800 or $900 bucks. While that may seem a bit steep, the potential savings year after year, should reimburse you for the cost in no time at all. With electricity being so expensive, with no relief in sight, the demand for products which will save money and reduce energy costs has increased tremendously.

Amway Global has just signed a deal with new age entertainer and radio host, John Tesh to develop and distribute health and beauty products and advertise on Tesh’s radio show, “Intelligence for Your Life”

Under the agreement, Amway will work with Tesh and his wife, actress Connie Selleca to distribute Selleca’s line of skin care products, Selleca Solutions. Amway Global in return will be an advertiser and sponsor of Tesh’s radio show which is broadcast to more than 275 radio stations around the U.S. and Canada, reaching more than 8 million people.

The multiyear agreement will also allow Amway Global and its distributors sell existing Tesh products including books and CD’s as well as products developed jointly with Amway Global and Mr. Tesh.

“John Tesh’s philosophy of helping people live better lives is a perfect fit with Amway Global’s business model,” said Steve Lieberman, Managing Director of Amway Global. “Our business is about empowering people to take actions to make life better for themselves and their families, and ‘Intelligence for Your Life’ supports the same objective.”

Tesh will also make appearances at Amway Global events and appear in company advertisements.

Reliv, a leader in nutritional supplements, has just announced their newest product, GlucAffect, a powder based formula that the company says has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels and aid in controlling weight.

GlucAffect’s main ingredient, Pycnogenol is a nutrient rich antioxidant that has been shown in clinical studies to provide many health benefits, namely lowering high blood glucose levels. High blood glucose levels along with excess weight are two of the main factors in metabolic syndrome, a disease which increases the chance of suffering from heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Nearly 47 million American has metabolic syndrome according to the American Heart Association.

Reliv conducted its own clinical study of 50 overweight people who showed signs of elevated blood glucose levels. During the eight week study, the subject taking GlucAffect not only lowered their
fasting blood glucose by around 30% percent, but also lost an average of 16 pounds.

“Metabolic syndrome is a serious, emerging health concern among the medical community, and physicians are more frequently looking to nutritional science as a complement to traditional care and prescriptive remedies. We see the study results of GlucAffect as a significant development,” said Dr. Carl Hastings, vice chairman and chief scientific officer, Reliv.

The new product comes in a powder form that can be blended with any liquid; water, juice, coffee or
milk to make a nutritional beverage. The product is now available to all customers in the 13 counties where Reliv operates. This is Reliv’s 13th nutritional product. The Missouri based company currently has five products that are already patented and 2 more on the way.

Of course, it is important to note that none of the statements above have been approved by the FDA-studies that corroborate Reliv statement were done for and by the company itself.
