Global Health and Wellness Company, Herbalife announced the hire of a new VP of Investor Relations. Andrew L Speller , former Associate VP and Senior Equity Analyst at A.G. Edwards and Sons is the newest addition to the Herbalife family.
Speller, who hails from Nashville, Tennessee, has spent over 15 years in the financial services industry and is well know in for strong ties to investors. At A.G. Edwards, Speller headed one of five healthcare teams and often appeared in the media expressing his opinion on health care in the United States as well as his assessment of various healthcare companies.
The Wall Street Journal has recognized Speller four times in the past as on e of the “Best on the Street” in their survey of sell-side analysts for stock picking.
Speller earned his MBA from St. Louis University and a BS in Business administration from University of Missouri-Columbia, with degrees in finance and banking and real estate. One thing is for sure, I’m pretty positive that given the embarrassment the company suffered after a former executive was found to have falsified his resume, Spellers resume is accurate.
Still no word from the company on who will replace former disgraced former President Probert.
