Mannatech has just launched its newest fat loss product, OsoLean. The new product, which comes in a powder form, is a whey protein supplement that is all natural and can be mixed with any food or beverage.

Last month, Mannatech launched their OsoLean Challenge which is a competition among their independent distributors to see who can achieve the most weight loss while sticking to a diet and exercise plan that includes the OsoLean products. The challenge began September 4th and will continue until the end of December.

Clinical studies conducted by Mannatech has shown that the powder has been shown to help target fat loss and build muscle when combined with a sensible diet and exercise plan. Whey protein has been shown for years to help build and maintain muscle. The new OsoLean Powder takes advantage of the benefits of whey protein and combines the added bonus of distributing it in an easy to take form.

“The launch of OsoLean powder is yet another milestone for our company,” said Dr. Robert Sinnott, chief science officer and senior vice president of Mannatech.”With this newest offering, we are on the forefront of protein peptide technologies that deliver outstanding results. It is an ideal dietary supplement product because it offers the consumer both convenience and the latest application of science to specifically target fat loss while maintaining lean muscle mass.”*

When Mannatech developed the OsoLean powder, they secured a patent on the process that involves separating a certain part of the whey protein call peptides, and concentrated them to increase their effectiveness in fighting fat. This, says the company is what separates their product from other whey proteins on the market.

We told you a month ago about the introduction of OsoLean at MannaQuest, 2008, the company’s annual convention. While distributors got a chance to test and try out the product ahead of the general market, with the launch this week, OsoLean is now available to us all. While there are many whey proteins out there, this product does seem to have some benefits. Aside from the patented process of separating the peptides, the OsoLean contains 22 percent of daily protein needed and 20 percent of calcium needed per day. In addition, the product is also free of synthetic flavors, artificial preservatives or fillers that are commonly found in other products.
