Healthy Chocolate Anyone…?

MXI Corp ‘Marketing Xocolate International Corp’ was created by the Founders of Pure De-lite. For those unfamiliar with the Pure De-lite, it was a leading distributor of Low-Carbohydrate, sugar-free chocolate in the United States. Pure De-lite achieved over $300 million in retail sales and partnering with some of the largest retail companies in the world, including Wal-Mart®, Walgreens®, and GNC®.

During the low-carbohydrate craze, the founders began exploring the opportunities that surrounded antioxidant-rich, Healthy Chocolate. With the development of its Xoçai™ products, MXI is the category creator of high-antioxidant, Healthy Chocolate.

HEALTHY Chocolate… The first two things that came into my head were… “Come on get real, now I have heard of everything!” and “The FTC and Attorney General are going to have a field day with these jokers!” Happily I report today that they are doing well, full stride one month away from their 3rd year in business, boasting record growth and unheard of retention…78%

This story is not about MXI as much as it is about their founding distributor and his journey into ‘Candy Land’, and well beyond.

When I first met Jeremy Reynolds I thought, nice guy, intelligent a bit reserved, but I like him… I certainly did not believe that he was the personality fit for a founding distributor or that he could manage a stage or lead the masses to the happy hunting grounds of massive MLM payday. There was nothing wrong with Jeremy, but he seemed softer spoken and more reserved than the typical network marketer. Happily, I would soon be proven wrong.

Eighteen months later, I am still looking at the same guy… telling the same stories, getting the same results. Maybe you don’t have to be a hype monkey to make MLM work; all you have to do is align yourself with the right timing, products and people to help activate the large arms and deep voice as the men and women behind the curtain of the MLM machine keep this chocolate thing growing.

So either I am bitter that I misunderstood, or I am still dazed and confused over the words Healthy Chocolate. Regardless, this was the most research I have ever done on any single company, and any single distributor.
