Reliv announced this week, that its second annual “Walk for the Mission” event has raised almost $70,000 for its Reliv Kalogris Foundations.

The second annual event drew over well over 3,000 independent distributors from over nine countries to help raise money for the nutritional supplement company’s charitable foundation.

The Relìv Kalogris Foundation is named after Dr. Teodore Klogris, developer of Reliv’s very first nutritional product, CLASSIC. The 13 year old charity is funded almost entirely by Reliv Distributor donations. To date, the charity has donated more than $15.5 million dollars to individuals and organizations around the world. Recipients are chosen solely by distributor recommendations.

The main goal of the foundation is to provide free nutritional supplements to individuals around the world, primarily children who do not have access to vitamins and proper nutrition. The majority of recipients are children outside of the US.

R. Scott Montgomery, CEO of Reliv, and the Foundation’s chairman, will was on hand for the walk to thank the participants for their time and donations.
