Howard Hannemann, Vice president of Agel Europe, was just named one of Utah’s top 25 fittest executives by Utah Business Magazine.

Agel – a world leader in nutritional supplements as well as skin care and cosmetics - accepted the announcement with great excitement. The fittest executive competition, held by Utah Business Magazine, pitted top executives from various business and organizations in Utah against each other in a fierce competition to test of their health and wellness.

Hannemann was recognized April 24th during the Salt Lake Chamber’s Business to Business Expo. All participants were recognized for their achievements during a special lunch during the Expo.

In order to participate in the competition, applicants had to go through a screening process which included a physical fitness appraisal. Only 100 participants were allowed to participate in the competition. Those who made the cut then went head-to-head in competition. Each executive was subjected to a grueling physical fitness exam that tested everything from strength, agility, flexibility and endurance to body fat percentages.

“The great thing about this competition is the valuable fit measurements I received about my general physical condition,” said Hannemann. “The testing was tough, but it helps that I work for a company that is aggressive at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.”

Agel is serious about the health and wellness of their employees. Hannemann is also participating in Agel’s annual FIT Challenge. FIT Challenge is a fitness program that incorporates a strict work-out program with Agel supplements. If you are interested in learning more about the challenge, click here.

It’s great to see Agel practice what they preach by motivating their employees to get fit and lead a healthy life. Agel is not only committed to health and wellness around the world, but they have shown that they are also committed to the health of their employees and often reward those who demonstrate a healthy lifestyle.

In a practice that I believe will only start gaining momentum, Agel launched www.IamAgel.com in an effort to get distributors to customize their own Agel websites. The move, which really helps Agel streamline the information that is put out and also offers distributors a very easy way of communicating and marketing themselves, also helps to streamline the growing problem of distributors not providing correct or outdated information on their own sites.

For quite a while, distributors have taken the opportunity to co-brand themselves with the products they are distributing by creating their own websites and using corporate logos, info etc. The problem is some of the info becomes outdated, the latest products aren’t there and in a lot of cases, the distributor is offering the products at a discounted rate to attract buyers but it competes against others selling the same product.

We really like the move on the part of Agel so long as they allow the distributors to customize the site in a way that allows each person to have some sense of identity with the site.

Agel does charge for the new custom web pages - $14.95 per month or $120 for the year. Some people may have an issue with the price but it’s pretty inexpensive when you compare it to other website hosting companies and the web templates you get. The Agel version offers a personal marketing site, business center, immediate training, contact management, email tool and some other neat features. It’s well worth the price.

Agel Enterprises, launched just over 2 years ago in the USA has been aggressively expanding at lightning speed into Europe just over 1 year ago. While the 2 year mark is often seen as a significant hurdle for many experienced Network Marketers, many are starting to take this company more seriously due to its significant growth strategy.

Often referred to as ‘Wave 2″ (meaning hopefully the kinks are worked out after a start up period), this timing can be significant for experienced MLMer’s who jump on board at this stage. Over the years many of the Wave 2 participants in leading MLM companies have had more success and built bigger cheques then those coming before them to pave the way or hack through the jungle. This is because when the infrastructure and business tools are in place the business becomes easy to duplicate but the opportunity is still early enough for huge leverage and legacy positions. The initial risk of a new company is removed as the company proves itself and becomes profitable.

Agel has exceeded many of the predictions made by both supporters and naysayers. The company is already debt free after just 2 years, whilst simultaneously expanding into over 45 countries and producing 17 Diamond Distributorships as well as several Double and Triple Diamonds.

On May 2-3rd 2008 Agel Enterprises will hold the first ever EU conference. Established leaders and new Agel business partners are expected to come from all over Europe to attend this event. Agel in UK and Europe is experiencing further exciting growth with new products such as its gel supplement, PRO and its skin care product, AGELESS which were both recently launched and available now in many EU markets.

We have looked at the European strategy and we must say that given the technology the company has been working on, its aggressive push into the EU and a pretty good compensation plan, they seem well positioned to increase their footprint and success.
