Opened in 1996, Casa Betania is just one of several centers run by Fundacion Arco
Iris in Bolivia, where children receive nutritious meals, medical attention, clothing, educational and social assistance. Currently, 240 children, from infants to 12 years of age, are served at the center.
Casa Betania is in the Gran Bretana neighborhood, considered one of the most impoverished areas of the Bolivian capital city. The initial grant by Herbalife Family Foundation will support the daily operations, staffing costs and other much needed services and resources for Casa Betania.
The Casa Herbalife program was launched in 2005 to help provide healthy and nutritious meals by partnering with existing charities serving children. This is the 33rd Casa Herbalife program established worldwide.
Herbalife Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation dedicated to improving children’s lives by helping organizations provide healthy nutrition to children at risk.
