Howard Hannemann, Vice president of Agel Europe, was just named one of Utah’s top 25 fittest executives by Utah Business Magazine.
Agel – a world leader in nutritional supplements as well as skin care and cosmetics - accepted the announcement with great excitement. The fittest executive competition, held by Utah Business Magazine, pitted top executives from various business and organizations in Utah against each other in a fierce competition to test of their health and wellness.
Hannemann was recognized April 24th during the Salt Lake Chamber’s Business to Business Expo. All participants were recognized for their achievements during a special lunch during the Expo.
In order to participate in the competition, applicants had to go through a screening process which included a physical fitness appraisal. Only 100 participants were allowed to participate in the competition. Those who made the cut then went head-to-head in competition. Each executive was subjected to a grueling physical fitness exam that tested everything from strength, agility, flexibility and endurance to body fat percentages.
“The great thing about this competition is the valuable fit measurements I received about my general physical condition,” said Hannemann. “The testing was tough, but it helps that I work for a company that is aggressive at promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.”
Agel is serious about the health and wellness of their employees. Hannemann is also participating in Agel’s annual FIT Challenge. FIT Challenge is a fitness program that incorporates a strict work-out program with Agel supplements. If you are interested in learning more about the challenge, click here.
It’s great to see Agel practice what they preach by motivating their employees to get fit and lead a healthy life. Agel is not only committed to health and wellness around the world, but they have shown that they are also committed to the health of their employees and often reward those who demonstrate a healthy lifestyle.
