tupperware_logoThe Tupperware Brands Corporation  has just been given an impressive award honoring the company’s success in developing a brand that has become one of the most iconic brands of the last century. The company was recognized specifically for its achievements in India, China and Indonesia, by Superbrands, Business Week and Hers Magazines.

Superbrands, a publication that recognizing exceptional brands in over 80 countries, complemented the plastic organizational good company for their dedication and commitment to providing quality products and services in the Indian Market.

Hers Magazine recognized Tupperware for its growth in China as well as naming it the top company in the kitchen tools category in the annual, “Quality of Life:2008 Top 100 Women’s Favorite Brands” survey. Tupperware beat out over 500 international and local brands to capture top honors.
In addition to honors in India and China, Tupperware was recognized in Indonesia by Business Week, being voted “Company with the Best Corporate Image” in the Direct Selling category in an annual consumer survey.

In all of the above surveys and honors, Tupperware was recognized the quality of the products they sell as well as dedication to social causes, performance of the company and attractiveness of products as well as opportunity the company provides.

Tupperware CEO and Chairman, Rick Goings, was thrilled with the honors, especially since Tupperware is relatively new in these markets. “Tupperware has grown tremendously in several global markets, including India, China and Indonesia and it’s an honor to be recognized for our success from some of the most prestigious organizations throughout the world. It’s still early innings for us in these emerging markets, but the brand is already recognized and respected, which is incredibly encouraging.”

USANA is going to receive two Best of State awards from of course, the State of Utah, for best dietary supplements and best personal skin care. This is USANA’s fifth year as the winner for its nutritional line and the second consecutive year that the company’s skin care line, Sense, has been awarded with the honor.

The Best of State awards were created in 2003 to honor exceptional company’s and people in the state that have excelled in business and have been innovators in their fields. The judges are comprised of 100 distinguished business people who examine companies and critique among other things, business methods, processes, creativity, and each company’s contributions to the state and people of Utah.

USANA has set itself apart from its competition in part by voluntarily using the pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices model for its quality assurance program. The program ensures that all nutritional supplements are treated with the same precision and care, that pharmaceutical companies treat their products with. Many of the company’s products have also received NSF certification. The NSF is a 50 year old public health and safety company that develops national health and public safety standards. The Sense skin care line was honored for its nourishing natural ingredients as well as their exclusive patent pending formulas.

“We have always strived to set the benchmark for quality and safety within our industry,” said USANA President Dave Wentz. “It is gratifying to once again be independently recognized for our exceptional products, especially in a state with more than 100 dietary supplement companies.”

Agel Enterprises received a major honor this week when it was named a finalist in four different categories for the 2008 American Business Awards. The annual awards are known as the Stevies (”Oscards” of the business world) are the only awards that recognize major accomplishments in the business world.

The “Stevie Awards” were named after Stephen, the Greek word for “crowned” were first given out in 2002. Today the Stevie Awards are given out to Best American Companies, Best International Companies, The Stevie Awards for Women and Stevies for Sales and Customer Service.

The awards are presided over by a panel judges and advisors who are leading figures in American Business.

“This is a great time to be apart of Agel,” said Craig Bradley, president of Agel Enterprises. “As the category creator in gel nutrition, we have always strived to foster innovation and we are grateful to be recognized for the innovative things we are doing that are revolutionizing our industry.”

Agel was nominated in the following categories; Best New Product or Service for their Gel Nutrition, Best Press Room, Most innovative company –up to 2,500 people, and Glen Jensen, the CEO of Agel was nominated for top Executive.

Other MLM companies were recognized as well. NuSkin was nominated for Best Corporate Social Responsibility- More than 2,500 people and Shaklee was recognized in the Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program Category.

The American Business Stevie Awards will be given out on June 12th at the Annual Awards Gala at the Marrriot Marquis in New York City. They expect more than 600 executives from Companies across the country to attend.
