There’s a new company in the superfruit, nutritional drink market, and its looking to give the acai and the mangosteen a run for its money.

The superfruit drink business has become a booming business around the world over the last ten years with sales well over a billion dollars. Orenda is the new kid on the block and the first company in the U.S. to make use of the Aronia berry (which has 3x more antioxidant power than the blueberry) by developing a beverage, The Oki Aronia Berry Blend, that capitalizes on its nutritional benefits. Recent research has shown that the Aronia berry contains properties far superior to its competition.

Studies have shown that each tiny berry contains a wealth of antioxidants and can benefit the heart, liver, digestive system and aid in muscle recovery after workouts.

The small dark berry, nicknamed the “chokeberry” because of it is so tiny and can easily be choked on in its raw form, grows wild across the US and Canada. The berry has a bitter flavor comes that from the proanthocyanidins which is also the source of its antioxidants. The Aronia also has an intense concentration of anthocyanins, a natural compound that not only gives the fruit its dark color, but also many of its health benefits.

While the aronia has been popular for some years in Europe, it has only recently begun gaining attention in the US. Orenda, founded in 2002 by brothers, Bob and George Hall is looking to take over the nutritional beverage market and become the next big thing in superfruit beverages.

XanGo recently celebrated the one year anniversary of their operations in Malaysia. More than 1,000 people turned out for a party to celebrate the event at the MegaView Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Many of the guests who attended the party dressed up in “XanGo Orange” to honor the company. Along with distributors other distinguished guests included Tai Tolman, the manager of XanGo Southeast Asia, XanGo founders Gordon Morton and Bryan Davis and world renowned Mangosteen expert Dr. Frederic Templeman.

Since XanGo was launched a year ago, they have far exceeded all expectations. Today there are over 20,000 distributors and consumers of the Mangosteen drink.

Along with the anniversary celebration, XanGo used the event as a chance to introduce the new one ounce single serving XanGo juice, the XanGo Single which is an easy to carry, travel size version of the drink.

XanGo - a world leader in the production and sales of Mangosteen fruit juice - is setting their sights on the skin care world. While XanGo has seen a huge amount of success with their nutritional juice over the last 5 years, the public is hungry for new ways to utilize the benefits of the mangosteen fruit, and XanGo wants to give it to them.

XanGo (OpTree Profile) has now announced that they will expand into the skin care world. In the fall of 2008, XanGo will introduce a new skin care line called Glimpse. The skin care system will take advantage of the naturally occurring vitamins and nutrients found in the mangosteen fruit as well as harnessing the power of all natural ingredients that come directly from the earth.

While details are a bit vague as to exactly what the line will consist of, what we do know is that XanGo will use their patented xanthone formula to create an intense skin care system that they say will be a sort of diet for optimal skin health. We will keep you updated as we receive more details.

This should be an exciting launch for the company. They have over a million distributors in their downline who have made themselves and the company an enormous amount of money off only one product. It will be interesting to see if the public will be receptive to the mangosteen in another form.

Dyer stresses the importance of choosing the right company. “It’s critical to look into the background of the individuals involved; make sure the people know what they’re doing. Take it for a test drive. Kick the tires.” When Gordon Morton—XanGo’s president of sales and marketing and Dwayne’s long-time friend and business associate—called Dyer to ask for his help in launching the product, Dyer told him it wasn’t a good time. Morton persuaded Dwayne to fly to Utah and see for himself. Dwayne saw for himself, and joined the team. He never looked back. “You don’t want to take a risk with a company that won’t make it… I trusted the six founders [of XanGo] would do the right thing. If I was going to put my life blood into it, I had to know I could trust them.”

Dyer has seen XanGo’s product and compensation plan have a positive effect on the health and financial well-being of people all over the world. XanGo’s compensation plan is what Dwayne calls a “perfect partnership with the field”; a 50% split. For every dollar that comes in, the worker gets half—Even Steven.

Another aspect of XanGo that appeals to Dyer is that they participate in various charities at the global, national, and community level. From distinguishing itself as the biggest contributor to Operation Smile, to funding new flooring, wall coverings, and seats at the 75-year-old Scera art house theater in Orem, Utah, XanGo is accomplishing things that Dyer feels he and other distributors can be proud of. While the concept of “giving back” is not new, it show both the people associated with XanGo, and the communities in which we serve, that XanGo is committed to their well being.

Dyer and other top leaders speak about personal beliefs as key ingredients in the success of this business or others like it. Belief works this way; the “I’m-positive, I-can attitude, are what generate the power, skill, and energy needed to do. When you believe ‘I-can-do-it’, the how-to do-it develops.” All top leaders talk directly to this point, believing and then taking action through that belief will allow you to achieve. Dyer emphasizes the W.O.R.K. required in Network Marketing, but all the while he demonstrates what the company has done to make the WORK efficient and effective.

On the XanGo horizon, Dwayne Dyer looks forward to doubling the number of distributors and countries in which their products are currently available —the result would be an impressive 2 million distributors in 44 countries.
