“If you’ll work like crazy for 90 days, you too can make it work.” The hardest part is getting past Day 1, which is not the first day in the business… it is the first day you actually work in the business, they are not the SAME.

If you were building a company and doing the typical resume review, you would be hard pressed to find someone who has achieved as much as Dwayne Dyer has. As a distinguished powerhouse salesman, co-founder of two nutritional supplement companies, and author of several educational materials for network marketers, resumes like Dyer’s typically precede themselves.

Dwayne Dyer has been engaged within the global community throughout his career. Dyer began his association with the network marketing industry as Director of International Operations at Nature’s Sunshine Products in 1987. Dyer went on to serve as VP of International Sales and Marketing for Enrich International, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for European Operations at Excel Communications, and National Sales Director for Shaklee Corporation. In short, he’s worn a lot of hats, carried a lot of influence, and seen a lot of success.

Dyer was attracted to network marketing because he noticed a lot of people with lesser education achieving greater success by taking the right opportunities at the right time. When Dwayne began sharing the XanGo opportunity, he focused on the three main components that convinced him that XanGo was the right opportunity at the right time: the founders, the product, and the compensation plan. These are the same selling points which he’s sharing with others today.

We asked Dwayne about the key ingredients to success for Network Marketing or Multi Level Marketing as many refer to it now. Dyer tells us that he educates people about the industry. “Not all MLM companies make it, and very few are a SURE thing.” He worries that many people will just get involved in the latest company, trend, or craze. His concern has nothing with them NOT joining his group. “I have become less worried about people who do nothing and more about people who work really hard in a company that has no ability to stick around long term!” Since he has been with XanGo, he has been approached by over 400 ‘Next Big Thing’ companies, all of whom do not exist today.

Additionally, Dyer told us there are certain things that have to be present for people to consider these companies and products as viable opportunities. They have to have solid management teams, they have to have proper funding, they have to have a manufacturing strategy for growth, they have to have products that really work, they have to have state-of-art software packages that manage and track all customers, representatives and proper commissions and finally, at minimum, they must have a marketing plan and compensation plan that are equitable, fun and reward the right behaviors. Most importantly, they have to have people who are willing to WORK!

Tomorrow Dwayne explains why in his opinion what it takes to make it…

When Dwayne Dyer talks about his Net-WORK, he emphasizes that second syllable, work. “Capital ‘W’, Capital ‘O’, Capital ‘R’, Capital ‘K’”.

This philosophy of “WORK” has certainly yielded very positive results for Dyer who—at XanGo- a network marketing company producing a highly concentrated Mangosteen fruit juice intended to promote health- has over 1 million people in his down line. Dyer has built one of the largest organizations in the industry.

Dyer describes two of his greatest influences in the industry; Gordon Morton Jr. and Ken Pontious, two remarkable network marketers who have come to realize that the core ingredient for success comes in the form of a good work ethic. An impressive focus on work ethic is not surprising coming from Dyer, whose 77-year-old father still operates his small optical center—Dyer Optical—and whose mother didn’t’ miss a single day of work in eleven years working the graveyard shift at Beckham Instruments.

Dyer receives over 100 emails a day and countless phone calls. “I feel this is a communication business. You’ve just got to communicate with your organization.” Excellent communication and the building of strong relationships are two of the industry’s big payoffs for Dyer, who enjoys touring various countries to spread the word about XanGo’s products and financial opportunities. Dyer coordinates various activities and events for members of the organization. Whether it is taking groups to houseboat vacations on Utah’s Lake Powell, or organizing XanGo distributor motor biking tours called, Bottles and Throttles, Dwayne obviously enjoys staying active in the industry. It is that commitment to “WORK” which separates Dyer from the rest.

Dyer’s approach to hard work and strengthening communication would be nothing without persistence. When he began as a distributor for XanGo, his family downsized from a beautiful executive home in Texas to a two-bed, one bath rental in Utah. His wife, Melody, entered the workforce, and Dwayne began calling everyone he knew to share this new opportunity. Dwayne worked 10-12 hour days making contacts, and admits that most of the people he contacted declined—including most of his close friends and family (his mother signed on, of course). Dwayne never considered quitting; he believed in the product, the founders, and the compensation plan.

“We have a Billion dollar brand, a product that changes lives, wonderful branding in place, a significant web presence, tools and brochures to help as well as professionals willing to assist every new representative who joins.” Dyer stresses, “sure there is WORK, but we have taken the hardest and most expensive parts out of the equation, now people just have to tell a simple story many, many, many times over 90 days.”

In an industry where only 1 distributor in 17 will actually stay with a business, Dyer demonstrates that hard WORK, communication, and persistence separate those who succeed from those who don’t. Dyer feels that if all of the pieces are in place, the only reason a company cannot double their size is that they are looking for the next Dwayne Dyer-someone that will be willing to tell that company’s story over and over and over as many times as it takes.

Tomorrow Dwayne explains why in his opinion so many fail…

There have been some exciting happenings over at Jus International. The nutritional “Jus” company who’s product contains 23 fruits, veggies, super-fruits and anti-oxidants is gearing up for their international launch event in Las Vegas in September, and has just begun operating in its first oversees market, Japan.

Now, until June 30th, there is an added incentive to becoming a new distributor. New distributors who sign up for the starter kit, are eligible for the promotion to win a new cobalt blue Yamaha Vino scooter. New distributors receive points for signing up other new distributors and the person with the most points, will win the scooter.

The starter kit does not come cheap, it is $499.95, but….if you’re looking for a new opportunity, it could be a great investment. Jus has been growing in popularity over the last year, and the company is well funded and the product has received some good press. With all the talk of super-fruits lately, like the goji, the acai, and the mangosteen, its not surprising someone finally put them all in one.

Jus only has one product right now, but….that hasn’t stopped other companies from becoming multi million dollar companies (XanGo, MonaVie) So….if you are looking for a new opportunity, and would love a chance to win a great prize, this might be for you.

As a side note….The scooter is also environmentally friendly….getting over 100 miles a gallon, so you can re-coup the starter kit cost in gas savings! Jus will even throw in a helmet for the winner.
