As we broke the news back in July, in a mere three weeks from now, XanGo (OpTree Profile) will officially launch its new Glimpse Skin Care line. The company, best known for its introduction of the mangosteen juice to the market, is now the first to create a skin care line produced from the tropic fruit.

The new Glimpse Skin line with not only feature the benefits of the mangosteen fruit, but will also feature the proprietary technology of the BioActive X3 Complex, a revolutionary system that will help deliver the ingredients to the skin. The BioActive is an all natural, clean and toxin free complex that will naturally nourish the skin.

“Glimpse is a natural, strategic extension of our business, and we’re proud to take the lead again by creating the category for topical skin nutrition from the mangosteen fruit,” said XanGo Founder and Board Chairman/CEO Aaron Garrity. “What XanGo Juice brought to the world six years ago in terms of creating a category and introducing a ground floor business opportunity, Glimpse will offer for topical mangosteen nutrition. The difference is that six years later we are in 23 countries with a sophisticated infrastructure and one million independent distributors to support the launch of Glimpse.”

Glimpse will become available on November 7th throughout the United States and Canada. The product will be introduced to the remaining 21 countries where XanGo products are sold in the first half of 2008. The product can be purchased online or through independent distributors.

I received an email today from Jennifer Dempsey, Communications Coordinator at Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada about a recent story we did about XanGo and the Wish Foundation- We incorrectly stated that the company had partnered with the Make a Wish Foundation.

The correct story should have read that XanGo has partnered with the Childrens Wish Foundation of Canada.

We apologize for the mistake. And just as a reminder, the XanGo Wishmaker Parade 2008 is October 18 and 19 across Canada. You still have time to participate or donate to the cause.

This week, Operation Smile, with the help from sponsor, XanGo (OpTree Profile), will provide much needed medical help to children in Guadalajara, Mexico. From September 25 to October 3 over 40 medical and non medical volunteer will travel to Mexico to help provide care for hundreds of children born with cleft lips and cleft palates.

With the help of XanGo, volunteers from the US, Canada, Italy and Mexico will change the lives of close to 100 children, who otherwise could not afford the surgeries required to fix their deformities.

Operation Smile works with local volunteers to provide not only surgery, but physical exams, speech therapy and nutritional plans.

XanGo formed a corporate alliance with Operation Smile this past year and has sponsored several other missions including two other trips to Mexico in May and September.

“As a global company committed to supporting the needs of children around the world, XanGo is honored to support Operation Smile Mexico, said Joe Morton, founder and board member for XanGo, LLC, “The work of Operation Smile and its volunteers will change lives and open up new avenues of opportunity that otherwise would not have been possible for the mission’s recipients.”

The company actively encourages its employees and distributors to take part in charitable endeavors such as Operation Smile Missions. XanGo feels that it is an important part of its corporate culture to give back to those who are less fortunate.

Operation Smile is dependent on the generosity of companies such as XanGo to help children and young adults around the world. Over 100 children are helped on each mission with each surgery taking as little as 45 min to change a young persons life forever.
